ONCE A WEEK, KEEP YOUR OWN BLOCK, MARCH #2

A little late posting this morning. I overslept this morning and almost forgot about the time change! Good news, My daughter and family finally arrived in Calif yesterday evening, and we have been visiting and trying to get together for later this week. Very excited to have her back home again!

Anyway, here is the block for this week. It is called Slanted Diamonds and can be found here:

http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SlantedDiamondsBlock.html.

I will not be posting a PP block this weekend, but there will be two of them next week!

ONCE A WEEK, KEEP YOUR OWN BLOCK, MARCH #1

With the mystery going on this past week, I forgot to post our Block for March. It is very similar to the Churn Dash but don’t be fooled. This called Double Wrench and is so fast to make! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! It can be found here at: http://www.quilterscache.com/D/DoubleWrenchBlock.html.

Our Paper Piecing block is called Geometry, a little variation on our first block. It can be found here at: http://www.quilterscache.com/G/GeometryBlock.html.

Enjoy!

ONCE A WEEK, KEEP YOUR OWN BLOCK, FEB #4

My apologies for not getting around to this sooner today. It has been a day of dealing with AT&T, Yahoo and Facebook and a lot of hassles.

This is a fun one for our final February block. It is called Jitterbug and can be found here at: http://www.quilterscache.com/J/JitterbugBlock.html. Would make a pretty baby quilt!

Our Paper Pieced block is called Diamond 4 Patch and is equally pretty. You can find it here at:http://www.quilterscache.com/D/Diamond4PatchBlock.html.

ONCE A WEEK KEEP YOUR OWN BLOCK, FEB #2

What a fun and versatile block and it is scrappy! I think it would go together easily and quickly! It is called Goose Creek and can be found here at: http://www.quilterscache.com/G/GooseCreekBlock.html.

For our Paper Pieced Block this week, I think we will try Hexed Stars. You can find it here at: http://www.quilterscache.com/H/HexedStarsBlock.html. Have fun!

Our Paper Pieced block for this week is called Walking Squares and can be found here at: http://www.quilterscache.com/W/WalkingSquaresBlock.html.

Have fun!

Remains of the Day

No real January accomplishments for me, except for staying ahead in swaps on other groups. We are in the middle of a Valentine Pink and White swap on another group and I really depleted my valentine fabric. This is what remains of it and what I am making out of the remains. This will be either a baby quilt or a throw for someone but I am determined to use them up. I changed it around already as some of the colors didn’t play well together and will post pictures later.
