“We can always “prove” that we are right, but is the Lord convinced?” Proverbs 16:2

From Jeremiah 29:11-12

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. You will find me, if you look for me in earnest.”

Going up to Proverbs 16:2, “is the Lord convinced about what we “believe in?” We can fool ourselves so easily by listening to our own hearts that are deceitful in nature by rationalizing it as a feel good moment. But in reality, you are just covering up a problem that needs to be addressed. You’re just plastering over a tear in the wallpaper with those feel good, oh, I am right, and nothing is going to happen posters and hoping that you are right.

WAKE UP! The Lord God is not impressed by your ideas! He has other plans for you! Plans that are in place to help you, to elevate you, plans that He wants for YOU! They are for your good, not to harm you. He is offering you HOPE and a PURPOSE!

In Jeremiah 29:12, “In those days when you pray, I will listen. You will find me, if you look for me in earnest.” It is not enough to just say a short prayer. You need to look to Our Lord Jesus with earnestness, sincerety and a desire to crucify your heart to Him. He wants all of you, not just a small corner where you can tuck Him away and take Him out as needed! NO! His plans are above ours and His ways are above ours!

Look for Him in honest prayer that shows your heart and be AMAZED at what He can do with it! He can turn your heart from a tired, dirty, and clogged one into a brand new Heart! Your Heart will become Like His and you can work in tandem with HIM! Let Him in and see HIS Changes in YOU! As you continue to clean Your Heart, You will start to Mirror Him!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit! I come to you as a humble servant. Please do not turn away from me. I ask only that You would come in to my heart, cleanse it with Your Love and Mercy, and baptize me with the Holy Spirit, and commit not just my heart, but my body, mind and soul to You! Help me to mirror You not just in words but by my actions also. Make me a Holy Vessel that is worthy of You alone.
