2026 is right around the corner and that means it is time for changes, new ideas and of course, a new project!

Introducing our new 2026 quilt, Spring Fever. Only 5 more days until we start!

January 10, 2026: I will be posting yardage at 1030 a.m. today and you can start choosing your fabric. Me, I decided to go with sprng colors, green, pink and a light shade of yellow. It took a while to choose and then my computer decided to act up. Sorry about the delay.

Here are the colors I chose, a pretty pink floral, medium green, and a medium pink. You will also need approximately 1 and a half yards of white and another solid color for the first border. We will handle that later.

You will probably need 1.5 yards of each color for the blocks.

You can choose your own colors. It is a fairly easy pattern to work with and the instructions will be posted on January 15, 2026.

CORRECTION TO YARDAGE:

This quilt has a center with 4 repeating blocks and then the outside borders. This is an estimate based on my color choices. Today, we will just be cutting the fabric for the center.

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:

For the pink and green you will need 4 yards.

For the background, 3 yards.

From the cream/light background, cut:

12) 3 3 7/8 inch squares, cutting in half on the diagonal.

24) 1 1/5 inch squares

From the pink and the green fabric, cut:

12) 3 3 7/8 inch squares, cutting in half on the diagonal.

24) 1 1/5 inch squares
