SAMPLE BLOCKS:

A COUPLE OF NOTES ABOUT UPCOMING PATTERNS, PLEASE READ!

1.  EMBROIDERED BLOCKS

Just a quick check? How many of you own an embroidery machine?

The reason I ask is that I have 4 blocks that are machine patterns. I have been looking into the patterns and I believe that they can be translated into applique and they are not that hard, just a little time consuming.

If you want to do applique, I will have patterns ready for download by the end of next week. I will post them to the files under APPLIQUE in a PDF.file.

Machine embroidery patterns will be available as a PDF.file also under files. I am still working on the size and figuring out which ones work best. You are more than welcome, once posted, to download and start anytime.

And if you are uncomfortable with both embroidery and applique, I will try and find alternate blocks for you. Again, it will be the end of next week.

The one below can be done either as applique or machine embroidery. It is a sample that I’m considering.

Please let me know your thoughts so I can set it up.  Thank you.

2.  APPLIQUE POSSIBLE PAPER PIECED BLOCKS

APPLIQUE PATTERNS:

Just a reminder that there are a couple of blocks that are in the quilt that should be done as applique as it will work better. Actually, the second one should be probably done as Paper Pieced for better accuracy.

Please note that I do reserve the right to change the blocks around if it feels like it might be a problem working with it. Please let me know what you think.

**********************************************************
Someone asked how often the patterns will come out and I stated that they will come out about every 3-4 weeks, which is true. But  I need to amend that statement. Patterns will be coming out fairly quickly as I figure them out. The actual block might take longer to make.  I’m trying to do the easiest ones first and am starting to play with the embroidery patterns.
