Good Morning!
It is lovely and humid here today in the Valley and I plan to do some more sewing on my Postage Stamp quilt before going to work today. I plan to go through my large bin of half square triangles and cut them down to size, that is 1.5 x 1.5 so that I can start on my pinwheels. Each row will be separated by a 1.5 inch strip of red alternating with pinwheels. I still have a long way to go but it’s fun and easy to do!
Come on, I know there are others besides me who have left over triangles from various projects! I reuse them in different projects as I am seriously a scrappy person.
Here is the first segment, followed by more and then down to the end. There are supposed to be 42 four patch squares but I must have miscounted on a couple as they are short by a couple of blocks. No big problem, just add on. I measured it on my bed and it has plenty of length and overhang to make a good sized quilt. The final picture is my box of leftover half-square triangles.
Have a great day!
